The race is coming home, experience it with us and become a volunteer at the World Championships!

Nowhere in the world is cycling more alive than here. It is therefore an honour and a pleasure to be able to welcome and experience the 100th anniversary of the 2021 UCI Road World Championships in our country. The 9-day cycling festival, that is taking place from Saturday 18 to Sunday 26 September 2021, promises to be absolutely fantastic, from Knokke-Heist to Bruges and from Antwerp to Leuven.

During these World Championships, we hope to shout as many of our compatriots as possible to victory on our typical Flemish roads with a high Flandrien factor: nasty slopes, turning and twisting, rumbling over the cobblestones and stumbling through wind and weather. There, "our" top riders such as Wout, Remco, Greg, Jolien and many other compatriots will get the chance to write history and to make that one dream as a professional cyclist come true: receiving the prestigious rainbow jersey in front of a home crowd.

But no race without volunteers!

To turn this global cycling event into a great party, we are looking for more than 2,000 volunteers per day. We can definitely use your talent and enthusiasm to carry out one of the following tasks during the World Championships:

Drivers
Marshals and parking stewards who literally lead the World Championships in the right direction
Service team volunteers for the construction, dismantling and logistical support at the arrival and finish and in the fan zones
Green team volunteers who like to roll up their sleeves to make the event run as ecologically as possible
Administrative support - accreditation, info & reception to receive guests and show them the way during the World Championships.

Are you excited and ready to become a volunteer? Great! You can join our team in different ways:

As an individual: you choose the option 'I want to register as an individual' when registering.
As a group leader of your own club or association that wants to participate: you are the first to create the new group and receive an ID-number that other members of your club or association can use to join your group within the Flanders 2021 volunteer work.
As a group member of an existing group registration: you receive from your group leader the ID number that you have to fill in when you register as a group member of your group within our platform.
