Thank you Knokke-Heist and Bruges

Unfortunately, the first part of the World Championships is already over. For four whole days we have been treated to some wonderful performances and incredibly exciting scenes during the time trials between Knokke-Heist and Bruges. We thoroughly enjoyed it and the athletes were also very enthusiastic about the circuit along the Damse Vaart.

In Bruges and Knokke-Heist we not only welcomed the international delegations, UCI and the press, we welcomed you there too! You descended en masse from the most diverse locations to our fan zones at ’t Zand in Bruges and the Albert Beach in Knokke-Heist. Together with the riders, we wrote history there. The UCI Road World Championships could not have wished for a more spectacular 100th anniversary celebration. You can enjoy it all again here.
