The new time trial world champions are now known and the corresponding rainbow jerseys have been handed out. This means that unfortunately, the UCI Road World Championships in Flanders are behind us. Whether they departed from Antwerp or Leuven, for four days the riders have given it their all. We witnessed some fantastic races, accompanied by a phenomenal atmosphere.
Over the past few days, thousands of supporters turned up at the start in Antwerp, in Leuven city centre or along the Flandrien Loop to encourage the riders. Cycle racing fans from all over the world flocked to Flanders to be part of these UCI Road World Championships. The 100th anniversary of the UCI Road World Championships was celebrated in style!
