Kick off the World Championships in Flanders with the Flanders 2021 Ride Knokke-Heist - Bruges

In two months’ time, not only will the start of the 2021 UCI Road World Championships be reverberating around your ears, but a day earlier, you can have the experience of a true champion on the time trial of the World Championships. On Saturday 18 September 2021, the first Flanders 2021 Ride will take place between Knokke-Heist and Bruges. As a sports enthusiast, you can explore the time trial of the 100th anniversary of the World Championships!
The Flanders 2021 Ride Knokke-Heist - Bruges will let you get to know the mainly flat circuit on which cyclists will ride during the days after the time trials of the World Championships in Flanders. You start in one of the two cities. You can choose a round trip, or a trip from the start in Knokke-Heist to the finish in Bruges or vice versa.
Knokke-Heist
The start and finish of the 2021 Flanders Ride in Knokke-Heist are located in the Hippique car park. You start there for a trip to Bruges (37 km) or to Bruges and back (65 km). You start at your choice of time between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. The tour takes you to Bruges via the official World Championships village of Damme, where you can enjoy provisions or take a break.
Bruges
You leave or arrive in Bruges at the Sint-Lodewijkscollege. Here too you can start a trip to Knokke-Heist (30 km) or to Knokke-Heist and back (65 km). You will also start your journey here between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. These routes also pass through Damme.
So you can choose which city you want to start in! For the long 65 km tour you pay 25 euros, for the 30 km and 37 km tours you pay 15 euros. In addition to this unique experience, you will receive extensive provisions along the way, and insurance and assistance are included. Children under 12 do not have to register and can take part in the tour free of charge. You must reach the finish line no later than 7:30 p.m.
In short, the three tours of the Flanders 2021 Ride Knokke-Heist - Bruges are the ideal World Cup experience for young and old, the occasional cyclists and the real Flandrien, the day before the official start of the 2021 UCI Road World Championships.
