You will find all the necessary information for planning your trip to the UCI Road World Championships in Flanders on this page.
'How will I get there?'
You will have no excuse not to travel down to the Road World Championships in 2021 because Flanders is in the heart of Europe. You can reach Flanders very easily by car, plane and train in less than two hours from Amsterdam, London, Paris and Cologne thanks to its central location:
By plane:
Flanders (Belgium) can easily be reached by plane. There are direct trains from Brussels Airport (BRU) to Louvain. It is also easy to reach Louvain by train from Brussels South Charleroi Airport (CRL). For more information: brusselsairport.be and brussels-charleroi-airport.com.
By train:
Several international train connections serve train stations Brussels Midi or Antwerp Central from various European cities, such as Amsterdam, Paris, London and Frankfurt. If you travel to Flanders on an international train, we would also recommend that you continue your journey by train to the host city of your choice once you arrive in Flanders.
'How do I travel between host cities?'
In Flanders, we recommend that you use public transport as much as possible to move around. In all four of our host cities Knokke-Heist, Bruges, Antwerp and Louvain you will easily access a train station in the immediate vicinity of the World Championship course.
